What is Poly Giving Day, and why does it matter?
Poly Giving Day is more than just a day—it’s an opportunity to come together and make a lasting impact. Every gift, no matter the size, directly supports the people and programs that define the Poly experience. By giving, sharing, and celebrating, we strengthen Poly’s legacy and ensure that current and future students thrive.
How can I be involved in Giving Day?
You can participate by making a gift, spreading the word, and encouraging others to give. Whether it’s sharing on social media, reaching out to classmates, or setting up a matching gift challenge, your involvement makes a difference.
Where does my gift go?
You can choose to designate your gift to a specific area or to our greatest area of need—the Poly Fund, which supports academic programs, faculty development, student life, and financial aid. Every dollar helps enhance the Poly experience for both current and future students.
Why do you need my support?
Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a Poly education. The Poly Fund helps bridge that gap, ensuring that students have access to exceptional learning experiences, dedicated faculty, and enriching opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. Your support helps sustain and strengthen our community.
How are gifts counted?
Donor names listed here are from gifts made exclusively to Poly during our Giving Day campaign. For questions, please reach out to us [email protected], and we’ll be happy to assist you.
I already made my gift, but I don’t see my name.
Thank you so much for your generous support of Poly! Giving Day is all about participation, and if you’re able, consider making an additional gift to increase your impact on the leaderboard. Please note that gifts made on Giving Day are counted exclusively for this event. The school’s fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30, so contributions made outside of this period will be reflected accordingly.
I heard that the class participation winners get to dunk Head of School John Bracker. Is that true?
Yes! The class with the highest parent participation in giving will win the chance to dunk Head of School John Bracker in the dunk tank at Poly Pet n Hobby on April 25. Each student in the winning class will receive a ball to take their shot!
